I started shooting with dad's camera my sophomore year of high school. I learned by posing my friends in the tropiest ways imaginable. We'd roam in the heat through the Ohio River Valley, taking pictures of ourselves on train tracks, in rivers, lakes, and trees.

I didn't know it at the time, but the camera would follow me into adulthood, and I would continue to take images in effort to capture the frequency of the moment.
